At NEW NARI, we believe that the future of the remodeling industry starts with the students of today. That’s why we’re proud to support Youth Build 2025, a hands-on construction training program led by Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity. This incredible initiative not only helps solve the urgent need for affordable housing—it also introduces young adults to rewarding careers in the trades.

Building Skills, Confidence, and Community

Youth Build engages, educates, and empowers students by offering real-world experience on a job site. From September 2025 through February 2026, students will work side-by-side with professionals and mentors to construct a safe, affordable home for a local family. Along the way, they’ll gain practical skills, career insight, and a sense of pride that comes from building something meaningful.

The program creates a welcoming environment for young adults to explore opportunities in construction and specialized trades. With education and mentorship at its core, Youth Build helps students not only envision a future in the trades—but take the first steps toward it.

Why NEW NARI Supports Youth Build

This program directly aligns with our NARI in the Neighborhood and Workforce Development initiatives. By supporting Youth Build, we’re investing in both our community and the future of the remodeling industry. Programs like this are essential to bridging the skilled labor gap while creating life-changing experiences for the next generation.

Looking Ahead

The home currently under construction will be completed in February 2026, but the impact of Youth Build will last much longer. Students will walk away with confidence, experience, and a powerful connection to their community. And the family receiving the home will gain something even greater: a strong foundation and a fresh start.
