The National Association of the Remodeling Industry, NARI, recently announced the winners of the 2025 National Remodeler of the Year Awards, honoring excellence in remodeling design and execution.

Formerly known as the Contractor of the Year (CotY) Awards, the new name, National Remodeler of the Year Awards was adopted by the association to better reflect the evolving, collaborative nature of remodeling, the association said in a release. “It captures the spirit of today’s professionals—who blend creative concepts with technical expertise to deliver transformative results.”

“These awards celebrate the heart of our industry—skilled professionals who combine vision, expertise, and a deep commitment to quality,” said NARI President Aaron Enfinger, CR. “The NARI Remodeler of the Year Awards not only honor exceptional projects, but also the collaboration and craftsmanship that define modern remodeling.”

This year, 40 national winners and 16 associated team members were selected from 160 regional winners, representing a collective $190 million in projects. Award categories span the breadth of the industry, from residential kitchens and bathrooms to historical renovations, commercial interiors, outdoor living spaces, and more.

A panel of industry experts evaluated hundreds of submissions, with judging based on problem-solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, and overall presentation.
