We’re seeking an Architectural Woodwork Sales Specialist to join our 100% employee owned company and grow our presence in the Architectural Woodwork Industry (AWI). What You’ll Do 

As an Architectural Woodwork Sales Specialist, you’ll drive new business and strengthen  relationships with AWI manufacturers, commercial millwork shops, and architectural  woodworkers. Your day-to-day will include: 

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities within AWI-aligned  manufacturers, fabricators, and project partners 

• Understanding customer needs and translating technical requirements into  accurate product recommendations 

• Building strong relationships with purchasing teams, engineering, project  managers, and leadership within AWI companies 

• Collaborating with internal teams (engineering, estimating, operations, customer  service) to deliver accurate quotes and successful project outcomes • Tracking opportunities, maintaining pipeline activity, and reporting forecasts • Representing the company at industry events, AWI chapter meetings, plant tours,  and trade shows 

• Staying current on industry standards, AWI specifications, and competitive  offerings to position our products effectively 

• Meeting or exceeding revenue, margin, and activity goals 

What We’re Looking For 

• Proven success in B2B sales; experience in millwork, architectural woodwork,  construction products, or building materials preferred 

• Strong understanding of AWI manufacturing processes, project workflows, and  specification-driven sales 

• Ability to read drawings, understand technical details, and communicate clearly  across multiple disciplines 

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a multi-state territory or  multi-channel account list 

• Proficiency in CRM systems, quoting tools, and Microsoft Office applications • Willingness to travel to customer sites, job sites, and industry events Please reach out to Jaelynn Sanger at [email protected]
