Before you begin filling out your application, please be sure to review the eligibility requirements(Opens in a new window) for this certification.\nThe Certified Remodeling Designer (CRD) online preparatory course is an eight week, structured study program, designed to help the attendees prepare for the CRD certification exam.\nThis prep course will develop your knowledge in the fundamentals of creating buildable remodeling designs, including:\n\nDeveloping functional designs within budget and existing conditions constraints\nCollaborating with the production team to develop more functional designs\nUncovering the client’s true motivations and priorities to develop optimal design solutions within budget\nSetting client expectations for greater control of the design process\nEvaluating existing conditions for more informed design to avoid issues during the production phase\nDeveloping optimal layouts for kitchens, baths, and all other areas of the home while considering potential construction design obstacles\nSelecting appropriate materials, fixtures, and appliances based on their intended use.\nSupporting and informing the production team in executing the designer’s intended design\n\nWHERE: Online teleconference\nLENGTH: Eight consecutive weeks.
